Overnight, Russia Launched 160 Drones throughout Ukraine, Killing at Least one Person and Injuring Numerous More

According to Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Russia launched one drone-launched cruise missile and 160 drones throughout the country during overnight attacks. According to reports, the Russian oil refinery in Saratov was attacked by Ukraine.

Eight people were hurt in a drone attack in Kyiv’s Dniprovskyi neighbourhood after a nine-story residential structure caught fire and had to be evacuated, according to authorities. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that the injured included a 23-year-old lady with shrapnel wounds and a 64-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman receiving treatment for burn injuries.

Attacks on Thursday and overnight into Friday also targeted other cities, including Dnipro and Odesa. Russian strikes have increasingly targeted vital infrastructure, warehouses, and logistical hubs. On Thursday, there were three distinct attacks on food warehouses in Dnipro, resulting in five injuries and one fatality. In the meantime, an infrastructure attack was reported by one Odesa official.
