According to a Veteran Israeli Ambassador, Trump and Netanyahu Are still Very Different

A former senior Israeli ambassador told CNN that President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s relationship is “diverging.” Alon Pinkas said, “They’re not even on the same book at this point,” in response to a question about whether Trump and Netanyahu were in agreement.

Pinkas also noted that violence has become a feature of Netanyahu’s political campaign and expressed concerns about the absence of an exit strategy for Israel’s attack against Iran-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon.
