Ukraine Assaults Oil Refineries While Russia Deploys Over 450 Drones in Midnight Operations

Kyiv attacked oil refineries in Russia’s Tatarstan, while Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported that Russia launched over 450 drones around Ukraine in nocturnal attacks. The Ukrainian military neutralised 409 of the 453 drones that Russia deployed throughout the country. Thirteen areas were hit, though.

A multi-story residential structure, an outbuilding close to a school, and buildings near a train station were all damaged after Russian drones attacked the city of Stryi in the Lviv area, which borders Poland.

Oleh Syniehub, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, stated that an explosive device detonated in the city of Izyum, killing a 26-year-old woman. Meanwhile, Russian attacks on Kharkiv and 15 settlements in the Kharkiv region resulted in three injuries, including a 73-year-old woman.

According to regional governor Roman Romaniuk, Russian forces launched a major attack in the Volyn region of western Ukraine on Saturday that lasted more than four hours and involved more than ten drones operating in the area’s airspace, injuring at least five persons. Debris damaged an evacuated train near Lutsk, starting a fire. The governor said no injuries were reported.
